Anna Macedo
I have only
ever studied Iyengar Yoga and I have been teaching it since 1997.
I have taught in many Yoga studios, and I currently teach at home
and at Just Yoga, Worthing. I have used Yoga to recover from serious
illness and two abdominal My two main aims as a teacher are to involve each individual in making progress and to encourage them to have a home practice. I believe once we have a daily practice we can be free from illness, stress and anxiety. Contact Anna via email at annamacedo@clara.co.uk

Julia Owen
Julia is a fully qualified Iyengar Yoga Teacher to Junior Intermediate level II. She has been practising for 35 years and teaching for 15 years throughout the South of England. She has studied with Mr.Iyengar in Paris and currently trains with 3 senior Iyengar teachers. Julia sees yoga as an ideal form of exercise to complement modern lifestyles which everyone can enjoy. It brings more energy into the body and relieves tiredness. It is a means to stretch and release muscles and joints throughout the entire body. The mind is more able to relax and focus as awareness is gained of the way the body moves. Breathing exercises and relaxation complete the practise. We reconnect with ourselves and find that harmony, balance, joy and peace do exist within each one of us. |

Viju Koria
"I
started to look for yoga classes to help with a back injury, from
playing badminton. Yoga was always in my blood. I tried one or two
different types of yoga, but I knew what I wanted. Then I found
Iyengar yoga and thoroughly enjoyed the class with Cathy Rogers-Evans.
Since then I have never looked back. After a few years I trained
as a teacher. My training is ongoing and I am still enjoying it."
